Brant County OPP responded early Thursday morning to a collision involving a tractor-trailer and a pedestrian on Highway 403 near Paris Road, in Brant County.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene shortly after the incident and transported the pedestrian to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
As a result of the collision, Highway 403 eastbound was temporarily closed between Oak Park Road and Paris Road for investigation and cleanup but has since reopened to traffic.
The Brant OPP is urging anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward. Witnesses can contact Brant OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or provide information anonymously through Brant-Brantford Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
The investigation remains ongoing.
