The Lions made history this weekend, hosting and winning their first-ever Central Western Ontario Secondary Schools Association (CWOSSA) AAA senior girls basketball championship.
In an impressive display on Saturday, the Lions secured a dominant 61-38 victory over Orangeville District Secondary School in the final. The long-awaited title marks a significant milestone for the team, capping off a season of hard work and determination.
The home crowd erupted in celebration as the Lions solidified their place as champions, finally achieving what had been an elusive goal in past seasons.
