OPP Investigating $29,000 Theft from Brant County Construction Site

The Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating the theft of approximately $29,000 worth of property from a residential construction site on McLean School Road in the County of Brant.

Police report that between December 19 and 20, 2024, unknown suspects forcibly entered the site, stealing a Honda generator along with a significant quantity of tools.

A second theft was reported at the same location just days later. According to police, between 11 a.m. on December 22 and 10 a.m. on December 23, suspects returned to the property and stole a flatbed trailer.

Authorities have confirmed that the investigation remains ongoing. They are urging anyone with information related to the incidents to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or www.ontariocrimestoppers.ca.

Police are also reminding the public to secure construction sites and report any suspicious activity in the area.
