A 48-year-old Brant County resident has been charged following a police investigation into a reported intimate partner violence incident.
According to the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), officers began investigating on March 3, 2026, at approximately 5:30 p.m. after receiving a report of a historical intimate partner violence incident at a residence in the County of Brant.
Following the investigation, police arrested and charged the individual under the Criminal Code with Assault – Spousal.
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford at a later date.
