The Brantford Bulldogs defeated the Oshawa Generals 7–3 on Friday night at the TD Civic Centre, strengthening their position at the top of the Ontario Hockey League’s Eastern Conference standings.

The game also featured a pre-game ceremony honouring former team owner and president Michael Andlauer as the inaugural inductee into the newly established Bulldogs Hall of Fame.

Andlauer, who brought the OHL franchise to Hamilton in 2015 after relocating the Belleville Bulls and later oversaw the club’s move to Brantford in 2023, was recognized for his contributions to the organization and community.

Brantford responded to an early Oshawa goal with a strong offensive performance, scoring once in the first period, four times in the second and twice more in the third.

Goals for the Bulldogs came from Zackary Sandhu, Cooper Dennis, Jeremy Freeman, Marek Vanacker, Gabriel Frasca, Charlie Paquette and Edison Engle.

Brantford capitalized on three of five power-play opportunities, while Oshawa converted once on the man advantage.

The Bulldogs improved their record to 41-9-7-2 and remain in first place in the Eastern Conference.

Attendance at the TD Civic Centre was 3,207 for the February 27 matchup.

Brantford’s next game is scheduled for March 5, when the Bulldogs travel to face the Barrie Colts.
