Brantford Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance following a hit-and-run collision that occurred early Saturday morning along Dalhousie Street.
Police say that between 5:30 a.m. and 8:10 a.m. on February 22, a white sedan struck a parked vehicle near Park Avenue before fleeing the scene.
The driver did not remain, as required under Ontario law.
Investigators report that parts of the suspect vehicle, including the right-side passenger mirror and a right-side door handle, were left behind at the scene.
The vehicle is described as a white sedan with a carbon-coloured roof, carbon attachments on the door handles, a rear spoiler, and a tinted rear licence plate cover.
It may be a Kia Forte or a similar model. Police believe the vehicle will have visible damage to the right passenger side.
The driver is described as a Black male wearing camouflage pants and a black hoodie.
Brantford Police are asking anyone who was in the area during the specified timeframe and may have dash camera footage, surveillance video, or additional information to come forward.
