The Ottawa 67’s delivered a disciplined and efficient performance Saturday afternoon, defeating the Brantford Bulldogs 5–1 in an Ontario Hockey League matchup at TD Place.

Playing before a crowd of 4,677, Ottawa capitalized on special-teams opportunities and steady goaltending to secure its second straight home win, while Brantford struggled to generate sustained offensive pressure and sustain momentum after its early breakthrough.

The Bulldogs opened the scoring midway through the first period on the power play, converting at 8:09 to take an early 1–0 lead.

It would prove to be their only goal of the afternoon, as Ottawa tightened defensively and limited second-chance opportunities.

The home side responded later in the period with a power-play goal at 16:34, before taking the lead for good less than two minutes later at even strength.

Ottawa carried a 2–1 advantage into the first intermission and emerged with renewed pace and structure in the second period.

Just 66 seconds into the middle frame, the 67’s extended their lead, setting the tone for the remainder of the contest.

A fourth goal at 8:16 widened the gap further, forcing Brantford to chase the game and take greater risks offensively.

Ottawa added its fifth goal midway through the third period, again on the power play, underscoring its efficiency with the man advantage.

The 67’s finished 2-for-2 on the power play, while the Bulldogs went 1-for-4 and were unable to convert key opportunities.

Goaltender Ryder Fetterolf anchored the victory with 32 saves on 33 shots, earning first-star honours for his composed performance.

At the other end, Ryerson Leenders stopped 26 shots in defeat, receiving limited support as Ottawa maintained consistent pressure through all three zones.

Despite the loss, Brantford remains atop the Eastern Conference standings with 76 points in 50 games, narrowly ahead of Ottawa and the Barrie Colts in the tightening race for first place in the Ontario Hockey League

The Bulldogs will look to respond quickly when they visit the Kingston Frontenacs on Sunday afternoon, with opening faceoff scheduled for 2:05 p.m. at Leon’s Centre.
