Two men are facing drug trafficking charges after Brantford police seized cocaine, methamphetamine, and other items during a late-night traffic stop last week.
Police say officers pulled over a vehicle on House Avenue at around 11:15 p.m. on Jan. 23.
Cannabis was visible inside the car, a violation under the Cannabis Control Act, prompting officers to arrest the driver and passenger.
A search of the vehicle turned up 232 grams of cocaine, 70 grams of methamphetamine and 14 grams of crack cocaine.
The drugs have a combined estimated street value of more than $22,000. Police also seized a large amount of Canadian cash and several cellphones.
A 19-year-old from North Dumfries and a 20-year-old from Flamborough have each been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and unlawful transportation of cannabis.
Both remain in custody pending a bail hearing.
Names of the accused have not been released.
