Brant County OPP have charged a driver with impaired driving offences following a single-vehicle collision Monday evening.
Police say officers were called at approximately 7:06 p.m. on January 19, 2026, to Bethel Road, east of Bishopsgate Road.
As a result of the investigation, a 47-year-old driver was charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs, and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80.
The accused is scheduled to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on February 5, 2026.
The OPP say impaired driving remains a leading cause of serious collisions and fatalities on Ontario roads and continue to urge the public to report suspected impaired drivers by calling 9-1-1.
