Brant County OPP arrested a 40-year-old woman following a domestic assault investigation in the County of Brant on Saturday night.
Police say officers responded to a 911 call at a residence at approximately 9:26 p.m. on December 20, where they determined that a physical and verbal altercation had occurred between two individuals known to each other.
One person sustained minor injuries.
As a result of the investigation, the woman was charged with assault, spousal. She was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford at a later date.
OPP remind residents that support is available for victims of domestic violence.
