Brantford Transit will roll out new schedules and route adjustments beginning Monday, January 11, 2026, as part of ongoing efforts to improve connectivity and make travel across the city more efficient.

The changes include earlier start times on most routes and additional morning trips, aimed at giving riders more travel options during peak hours.

Several routes will also see minor schedule adjustments intended to improve service reliability.

Brantford Transit said new connection points outside the downtown Transit Terminal will allow riders to reach key business areas more directly, reducing the need to travel through the city core.

As part of the changes, the city will introduce Route 21 – Tollgate Line earlier than originally planned.

The limited-service weekday route will provide a direct link between north Brantford and the Northwest Industrial Area, reducing the need for morning transfers downtown and strengthening service in the city’s north end.

Updated route maps and service descriptions are available on the City of Brantford website.
