A 35-year-old Brant County man is facing charges after Ontario Provincial Police responded to a domestic-related incident in Paris on Monday morning.
Police say officers were called to a residence on Baker Lane at approximately 9:50 a.m. after receiving a report of an assault. Investigators determined that a verbal and physical dispute occurred between two people who are known to one another, resulting in minor injuries.
The accused was arrested and has been charged with assault causing bodily harm and uttering threats.
He has since been released and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
