Mayor Kevin Davis is encouraging residents to take part in the Mayor’s Great Light Fight, a city-wide holiday lights competition open to all households in Brantford.

Running until December 22, 2025, the initiative invites residents to submit photos of their home light displays to help spread seasonal cheer across the community.

“The Great Light Fight is a fun and creative way for residents to come together and share the joy of the season,” said Mayor Davis.

“It’s inspiring to see the creativity, effort and pride residents put into their displays each year. Every decorated home contributes to the warmth, joy and community spirit that make Brantford such a special place to call home.”

Residents can enter by visiting LetsTalkBrantford.ca/MayorsGreatLightFight and uploading a photo of their display. Participants are also encouraged to add their address to the online Holiday Lights Map so others can tour local decorations.

The first-place winner will receive a Best of Brantford gift basket, featuring contributions from local vendors:

• Gamerz Galaxy

• Mann’s Distillery

• Mercasa Little Italy Eater & Catering

• SWEET Bakery

Full contest details and submission instructions are available at LetsTalkBrantford.ca/MayorsGreatLightFight.
