A 23-year-old Brant County woman has been charged with assault following a domestic-related incident in Burford.
Brant County OPP say officers were called to a residence on December 1, 2025, at approximately 9:54 p.m., after receiving a report of a disturbance.
According to police, a verbal dispute escalated into a physical altercation, resulting in minor injuries. The individuals involved are known to each other.
The accused is charged with Assault – Spousal and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
Police say they remain committed to addressing intimate partner violence and encourage anyone experiencing abuse to seek support.
