Brantford police have arrested a woman wanted in connection with a residential fire on Darling Street earlier this month.
Investigators had issued a warrant for the suspect following the November 17th blaze.
On November 22nd, at around 7:40 a.m., officers were called to a home on Erie Street after a resident reported that an unknown individual was attempting to ignite a fire in a backyard firepit.
Police attended the scene, located the woman in the yard, and took her into custody without incident.
A 33-year-old Brantford woman is now charged with arson, disregard for human life, arson – damage to property, and break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence. She was held for a bail hearing.
