The Brantford Police Service has introduced a new look for its patrol vehicles, rolling out a modern black-and-white design that residents will begin to notice on city streets starting today.

The updated colour scheme features a bold contrast and streamlined layout intended to improve visibility and reinforce a professional image.

According to the Service, the redesign aligns with contemporary police vehicle standards seen across Ontario and Canada, ensuring cruisers remain easily identifiable in a variety of conditions.

The transition comes as part of the Service’s regular fleet replacement program.

New vehicles will adopt the black-and-white design as older units are retired.

“This refreshed design represents both tradition and progress,” said Inspector Kristen Bell-Samson of the Brantford Police Service.

“It honours the professionalism of our members while ensuring our vehicles remain highly visible and recognizable to the public we serve.”

Police officials say the new design supports ongoing efforts to strengthen community trust and maintain a visible presence throughout Brantford.

The updated cruisers are expected to be gradually integrated into daily patrol operations over the coming months.
