Canadian Olympian Erika Polidori will headline this year’s 20th Annual Women in Business Event, hosted by the Chamber of Commerce Brantford-Brant and presented by RBC Commercial Banking.
The celebration takes place on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Brantford & Conference Centre.
Polidori, a member of the Canadian women’s national softball team and Tokyo 2020 Olympian, is set to share her story of perseverance, teamwork, and leadership.
Organizers say her keynote will explore the mental strength required to compete on the world stage and how those same values apply to entrepreneurship and professional growth.
“Erika’s journey reflects the determination and resilience that so many business leaders demonstrate every day,” said Chamber President Joy O’Donnell in a release announcing the event.
“Her perspective on teamwork and overcoming adversity is sure to inspire all attendees, including entrepreneurs, newcomers to Brantford-Brant, newcomers to the workforce, and senior leaders looking to inspire and motivate from Erika’s experience. ”
The milestone evening will open with a marketplace of women-led and women-inspired local businesses, followed by dinner and networking opportunities designed to encourage collaboration and connection.
Now in its 20th year, the Women in Business Event has become a signature fixture in the Brantford–Brant business calendar, celebrating women who innovate, influence, and demonstrate leadership across their professions and communities.
