Brant County OPP are asking for the public’s assistance following a reported break and enter at a residence in St. George last Friday.
Police say the incident occurred on November 7, 2025, at approximately 2:30 p.m., when an unknown individual entered a home on Glen Morris Road through an unlocked rear patio door.
The homeowner, who had been asleep after working a night shift, discovered later that her purse had been stolen.
The stolen purse is described as a small black handbag, about 9 inches by 7 inches in size, with no visible brand markings.
The homeowner confirmed that her wallet was not inside the bag at the time of the theft.
Officers were called to the scene around 9:00 p.m. to investigate.
Police have since obtained surveillance footage showing a male suspect in connection with the incident. Images of the individual have been released as part of the ongoing investigation.
Authorities are reminding residents to secure their homes and vehicles at all times — even during the day — to help prevent crimes of opportunity.
