The Brantford Regional Real Estate Association has appointed Joshua Wall as chair of its 2026 Board of Directors, marking a new chapter for the organization as it continues to promote professional standards and community engagement within the region’s housing sector.

Wall, a REALTOR® and Vice-President of Community Engagement with the Benson Crew Real Estate Team at Real Broker Ontario Ltd., succeeds Jason Tangorra, who now serves as past chair.

In a statement, Wall said he was “genuinely honoured” to assume the role and emphasized the need for purposeful leadership in a changing real estate landscape.

“Community service has always been one of the driving forces in my life,” he said. “I believe in the value of a local REALTOR®, in professionalism, in advocating for consumers, and in strong, transparent governance.”

Wall noted that collaboration will be a key focus of his term, particularly with other professional associations and nonprofit organizations.

He said he hopes to strengthen BRREA’s ties across the community while supporting policies that reinforce ethical practice and public trust.

The 2026 Board of Directors includes: Joshua Wall (Chair), Jason Tangorra (Past Chair), Vanessa Conte, Courtney Dorion, Karen Hobbs-Thomson, Michael Lefebvre, Allison Marry, Brandi Myers and Steve Spaulding (Directors).

Wall expressed gratitude to all members who put their names forward for board service, describing their contributions as essential to the profession’s continued progress.

“Stepping up to serve is one of the greatest gifts you can give to this industry,” he said.

“Your courage and commitment do not go unnoticed.”

The Brantford Regional Real Estate Association represents local REALTORS® through advocacy, education, and professional development.

As housing demand and affordability remain central issues across southern Ontario, Wall said the board will focus on ensuring that REALTORS® remain a trusted resource for clients and communities alike.

“When we serve with intention, we make real estate better for everyone,” he said.

“I look forward to a meaningful and impactful year ahead.”
