A 26-year-old Brantford man has been arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred outside a downtown nightclub earlier this year, police announced Thursday.

The incident took place around 12:10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, near Colborne Street and Clarence Street, where officers responded to reports of a shooting outside a nightclub.

One male victim was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Brantford Police.

Following an ongoing investigation, officers executed a search warrant at a Darling Street apartment in the early morning hours of October 2, where the suspect was located and taken into custody at approximately 5:40 a.m.

Police say the arrest was the result of continued investigative efforts and judicial authorization obtained to search the residence.
