A 32-year-old Brantford man is facing 15 new criminal charges following an ongoing investigation by the Brantford Police Service Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit, police announced Thursday.

The man was initially arrested on August 19, 2025, after ICE Unit detectives executed a search warrant at a residence in Brantford.

The search, prompted by information alleging the individual was in possession of child pornography, led officers to seize multiple electronic devices, including computers and cellphones.

According to police, forensic examination of those devices uncovered evidence of child pornography.

At that time, the accused was charged with one count of accessing child pornography and two counts of possession of child pornography, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He was held for a bail hearing.

Following continued investigation, ICE Unit detectives arrested the same individual again on September 30, 2025.

Police have now laid an additional 15 charges against him, including offences related to human trafficking, making child pornography, and luring a child under the age of 16.

The Brantford Police Service said the accused is known to have travelled extensively, raising concerns that he may have interacted with minors across multiple social media platforms.

Investigators have released a list of usernames allegedly associated with the suspect:

  • Deodee9
  • Deodee49
  • Daledeo
  • Karl or Karl and Alexis
  • Karl antigula
  • Karl shy

Police are urging anyone who may have information related to this case, or who may have been in contact with these usernames, to come forward. Individuals can contact the Brantford Police ICE Unit at 519-756-7050.

The Brantford Police Service has been a member of the Provincial Strategy to Protect Children from Sexual Exploitation on the Internet since 2007.

The strategy is a joint initiative involving the Ontario Provincial Police Child Exploitation Section and 27 municipal police services, supported by a grant from the Ministry of the Solicitor General.

Police emphasize that the online distribution of child sexual abuse material contributes to the ongoing victimization of children.

The ICE Unit continues to address the challenges posed by the global, anonymous, and high-volume nature of online child exploitation.
