Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested a Woodstock man after responding to a break and enter at a home in the town of Oakland on Friday morning.
Police say officers were called to a residential address on September 12, 2025, at around 8:00 a.m.
When they arrived, they found a man inside the home who was not known to the residents.
Following an investigation, officers determined the man had entered the house without permission.
As a result, Claude Simon, 43, of Woodstock, has been charged with adult unlawfully in a dwelling.
Simon has been released and is scheduled to appear in court in Brantford in October 2025.
