Brant County OPP have charged a 38-year-old Paris man with impaired driving after responding to a traffic complaint on September 7.
Police say they were called about a vehicle believed to have been involved in a collision.
Officers later found the vehicle parked in downtown Paris. After reviewing surveillance footage, they arrested Kevin Coombes, 38, of Paris.
Coombes is charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs, and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80.
He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on September 25, 2025.
Police note that impaired driving remains a leading cause of serious crashes and fatalities in Ontario.
Anyone who suspects an impaired driver is urged to call 9-1-1.
