Grand River Employment & Training (GREAT) will host its annual Job Fair later this month, bringing together job seekers and employers from across the region.
The event is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 24, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Six Nations Community Hall, 1738 4th Line.
More than 40 employers are expected to participate, representing a range of industries and offering opportunities for on-the-spot interviews.
In addition to meeting with employers, attendees will have access to employment support services such as résumé and cover letter assistance.
A Service Canada representative will also be on hand to help with Social Insurance Number inquiries.
“This event is a vital opportunity for community members to explore new career paths, connect with local businesses, and gain valuable employment support,” said Tawnie Powless, communications team lead at GREAT.
“We encourage everyone to attend and take advantage of the resources available.”
Participants can also enter prize draws during the fair. The event is free and open to the public.
Founded to serve the Six Nations of the Grand River community, GREAT provides employment and training services to help individuals achieve career goals while supporting local businesses in finding qualified candidates.
