Brantford police say they have seized 11 high-end vehicles worth more than $1.5-million in what investigators describe as a significant auto-theft operation with links to neighbouring jurisdictions.
The Auto-Theft Unit launched the probe earlier in August, and on Aug. 27 executed a search warrant at a commercial property on Spalding Drive.
Inside, officers discovered a cache of luxury vehicles, including several Mercedes-Benz and Lexus models, a Dodge Durango and a Rolls-Royce.
Police confirmed all of the vehicles had been reported stolen outside Brantford. No arrests have been made, and investigators say the case remains active.
“Organized auto theft is a growing concern across Ontario,” the service noted in a statement, adding that the recovery underscores the need for heightened vigilance from both owners and law enforcement.
Officers are asking anyone with information to contact the Auto-Theft Unit at 519-756-7050. Anonymous tips can be shared through Brantford Crime Stoppers at 519-750-8477, 1-800-222-8477, or online at crimestoppersbb.com.

The service also issued reminders for vehicle owners: park in secure garages where possible, use steering-wheel locks, shield key fobs from relay attacks, and consider GPS trackers to help locate stolen cars.
Vehicle theft remains a persistent issue across southern Ontario, with police forces reporting increased targeting of luxury brands.
