The County of Brant is once again bringing the magic of the big screen to local parks with its annual Movies in the Parks series, offering residents a lineup of free, family-friendly films under the stars.
The series kicks off on Thursday, August 14, with Lilo and Stitch at Onondaga Community Hall, followed by Dog Man on August 21 at Mount Pleasant Park.
September features Mufasa (Sept. 5, King William Park, St. George), Elio (Sept. 12, Forest Drive Park, Paris), Karate Kid Legends (Sept. 19, Burford Community Centre Park), and wraps up with How to Train Your Dragon (Sept. 26, Scotland Community Centre). All screenings begin at dusk.
Organizers note that movie titles are subject to change depending on release dates.
Thanks to the support of Gold Movie Night Sponsors Sarah Kirby Insurance Agency Inc. and Riverside Heating & Air Conditioning Inc., admission is free.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks to enjoy the evening.
While there is no cost to attend, the County will be collecting non-perishable food donations at each event in support of local food banks.
Monetary donations will not be accepted.
