John Hart has received a Lifetime Achievement Award from Brant County Ontario Provincial Police and Brant-Brantford Crime Stoppers in recognition of his longstanding dedication to the Crime Stoppers program.
Hart became chair of the board of Brant-Brantford Crime Stoppers in March 2017.
He has been involved in efforts to develop the organization, which began locally in 1984.
Since its launch, the Crime Stoppers program has assisted in the recovery of millions of dollars in stolen property and the seizure of millions in illegal drugs.
A presentation ceremony was held to formally recognize Hart’s contributions to the program’s structure and operations in the Brant and Brantford area.
Brant-Brantford Crime Stoppers operates as a community-based initiative that enables members of the public to provide anonymous information about criminal activity.
