A 57-year-old man is facing impaired driving charges after police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle over the weekend.
According to the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), officers were called to Pinehurst Road at approximately 8:58 p.m. on July 5, 2025.
Police say the responding officers located a vehicle and observed the driver displaying signs of impairment. The individual failed a roadside screening test and was taken into custody for further testing.
As a result, a 57-year-old Brant County resident has been charged with: Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on July 17, 2025.
Police remind the public that impaired driving is a serious threat to road safety.
