The Brantford Fire Department has announced the return of its Hot Summer Nights program, offering free family-friendly events throughout July and August 2025.
The events, held Tuesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., provide residents with an opportunity to cool down with a fire truck sprinkler, enjoy free freezies (while supplies last), and learn important fire safety tips from Fire Prevention staff.
“Every year, we look forward to hosting these family friendly events as a way for the community to stay cool and learn about fire safety,” said Fire Chief Todd Binkley.
The 2025 event schedule is as follows:
- July 8 – Orchard Park, 29 Brisbane Boulevard
- July 15 – Holmedale Park, 331 Grand River Avenue
- July 22 – Central Park, 143 George Street
- July 29 – Walter Gretzky Park, 379 Blackburn Drive
- August 5 – Tranquility Park, 135 Francis Street
The Hot Summer Nights series is supported by Hot Country 93.9 and Sobeys Brantford. Additional information can be found on the Brantford Fire Department’s Facebook page or at Brantford.ca/HotSummerNights.
