The Brant County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating an attempted robbery at a financial institution on Grand River Street North in Paris, County of Brant.
The incident occurred on Friday, June 6, 2025, at approximately 2:30 p.m. Police responded to reports of a suspect attempting to rob the premises before fleeing the scene. No injuries were reported.
Brant OPP has released images of the suspect and is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the individual.
Investigators are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who may have seen the suspect in the vicinity of William Street, Broadway Street West, or West River Street around the time of the incident.
Residents or businesses in the area with surveillance or dashcam footage are urged to review their recordings and contact police if they find anything relevant.
