The Ontario Hockey League (OHL) has announced its 2024–25 All-Star and All-Rookie team selections, with Brantford Bulldogs forward Nick Lardis and head coach Jay McKee earning honours for their standout seasons.

Lardis, the league’s leading goal scorer and a prospect of the Chicago Blackhawks, was named First Team Right Wing, following a record-breaking year. He became the first player in franchise history to surpass both the 60- and 70-goal marks in a single season — a feat achieved by only seven other players in OHL history. The last to do so was John Tavares in 2006–07.

In addition to his 70-goal milestone, Lardis set a new Bulldogs single-season record with 117 points. Alongside teammate Patrick Thomas, the duo became the first in team history to each record over 100 points in the same season.

On the coaching side, Jay McKee was named to the Third All-Star Team, marking his second career All-Star coaching selection after earning the same recognition in 2021–22.

McKee led the Bulldogs to an East Division title, guiding a roster that never dressed its full lineup throughout the 68-game regular season. Despite the adversity, the team posted a 44-19-5-0 record, finishing first in the Eastern Conference with 93 points — the first banner under the Brantford Bulldogs name.

The OHL’s All-Star and All-Rookie teams are selected by the league’s general managers through a two-stage voting process involving ballots from both the Eastern and Western Conferences.
