Brantford Police are investigating an overnight shooting that occurred near the intersection of Murray Street and Chatham Street in the early hours of Tuesday, May 13.

Officers responded to the area shortly after 2:00 a.m. following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, police confirmed evidence of a shooting, though no injuries or arrests had been reported as of Tuesday morning.

A heavy police presence remained in the neighbourhood as investigators worked to gather evidence and canvass the area.
