Brant County OPP Seek Public’s Help Identifying Theft Suspect

The Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a theft on Market Street.

According to investigators, the incident occurred on April 21, when an unidentified male suspect was captured on surveillance footage taking merchandise valued at over $100 without paying.

The suspect then exited the store and fled the scene in a grey Hyundai sedan. No licence plate was visible in the footage.

The suspect is described as a male in his 20s or 30s, with short, light-coloured hair and light facial hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black jacket, grey shirt, beige pants, and light-coloured shoes.

Police are asking anyone who recognizes the individual or has information related to the case to contact the Brant County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
