The Brantford Bulldogs fell 4-2 to the Oshawa Generals in Game 4 of their OHL Eastern Conference semi-final Thursday night at the Tribute Communities Centre, evening the best-of-seven series at two games apiece.
Marek Vanacker opened the scoring for Brantford late in the first period, cleaning up a rebound for his fifth of the playoffs.
Oshawa responded in the second with a power-play goal from Beckett Sennecke, who batted the puck out of the air to tie the game 1-1.
Colby Barlow gave the Generals the lead early in the third, but Brantford’s Calvin Crombie answered at 8:54 to make it 2-2.
Oshawa reclaimed the advantage when Matthew Buckley capitalized on a loose puck at 14:43. Sennecke sealed the win with an empty-net goal.
The series shifts back to the Brantford Civic Centre for Game 5 on Saturday, April 19, at 7:00 p.m.
