The City of Brantford is gearing up for its highly anticipated Fun Fest, set to take place on Saturday, March 22, 2025. This free community event promises a full day of family-friendly entertainment in downtown Brantford, culminating in a spectacular fireworks display at 8 p.m.

Due to warmer temperatures, the DJ Skate will now feature roller skating instead of ice skating. Attendees can register onsite to participate, with skate rentals available for $10 per pair or the option to bring personal skates.

Festivities kick off in Harmony Square (89 Dalhousie Street) from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., where visitors can enjoy free carousel rides, roller skating, face painting, and s’mores by the fire pits. Hot chocolate will be available while supplies last, courtesy of Conestoga College.

Additionally, a horse-drawn trolley ride will take guests on a scenic tour of downtown Brantford between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. for $2 per person, sponsored by Grisson Bon Ltd.

As part of Fun Fest, Wilfrid Laurier University is marking its 25th anniversary in Brantford with a special Purple and Gold Party at One Market (1 Market Street). From 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., visitors of all ages can enjoy bouncy castles, face painting, giant Jenga, Connect 4, corn hole, mini-putt, live entertainment, and complimentary cupcakes, while supplies last. Guests should enter through the doors at the corner of Dalhousie Street and Market Street.
