The City of Brantford, in collaboration with the Brantford Youth Council, is inviting local musicians and visual artists aged 15 to 25 to participate in the third annual Brantford Youth Excellence Awards.
This event, scheduled for Wednesday, May 7, 2025, aims to celebrate the diverse talents of the city’s youth during Brantford Youth Week.
The awards recognize outstanding achievements in four categories: Community and Leadership, Diversity and Inclusion, Impact, and Well-being and Growth.
Musicians are invited to perform two acoustic pieces, while visual artists can submit up to three ready-to-display artworks. Selected participants will receive a $50 gift card to a local business of their choice.
Applications are open until Friday, April 11, 2025.
This initiative aligns with the City’s Empowering Youth Strategy, emphasizing a commitment to youth wellness through various programs and community-based efforts.
