Brantford police are searching for five suspects involved in an attempted robbery at a jewelry store on Lynden Road on the afternoon of March 1, 2025.
According to police, the masked individuals—dressed entirely in black—tried to gain entry by smashing the front window but fled when their efforts proved unsuccessful.
The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. while customers and employees were inside the store. No injuries were reported.
Investigators have released images of the suspects and are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying them.

The suspects are described as five individuals, all dressed in black and wearing masks. One suspect, described as a male approximately 17 to 22 years old, wore a black hoodie and a face covering.
Another, estimated to be between 5’11” and 6’2” tall, was wearing a black jacket, balaclava, and sunglasses.
A third suspect, slightly shorter at 5’8” to 5’11”, was also dressed in a black hoodie and balaclava.
The fourth individual, whose gender remains unclear, was wearing similar attire, while the fifth suspect was entirely clad in black clothing.

Detective Esposto of the Brantford Police Service is leading the investigation.
