The Brantford Bulldogs fell 5-0 to the London Knights on Wednesday night in a battle of OHL conference leaders at the Brantford Civic Centre.

Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Easton Cowan opened the scoring early on the power play, with London controlling much of the play throughout the night. The Bulldogs had chances, including a breakaway from Marek Vanacker, but Knights goaltender Austin Elliott was sharp, stopping all 28 shots he faced.

London extended their lead in the second period with goals from Landon Sim, Sam Dickinson, and Jesse Nurmi, chasing Bulldogs starter Ryerson Leenders from the net. David Egorov came in relief and made six saves, but the Knights struck again early in the third when Cowan notched his second of the game.

The Bulldogs will look to rebound on the road, facing the Flint Firebirds on Friday and the Saginaw Spirit on Saturday.
