After being postponed due to inclement weather, Brantford’s Fun Fest is officially set to return on Saturday, March 22, 2025, bringing a full day of free, family-friendly activities to downtown Brantford from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The highly anticipated event will transform Harmony Square into a hub of music, entertainment, and community spirit.
“Brantford’s Fun Fest is a wonderful opportunity for families to come together and enjoy a day of activities right in the heart of our city,” said Ward 2 Councillor Gino Caputo.
“We look forward to welcoming residents and visitors for a celebration filled with music, entertainment, and community connection.”
The festival’s main attractions will take place at Harmony Square (89 Dalhousie Street), where attendees can enjoy a free DJ skate party, carousel rides, face painting, and fire pits with s’mores.
A hot chocolate station, courtesy of Conestoga College, will provide a warm treat, and horse-drawn trolley rides will offer scenic tours of downtown from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. for just $2 per person.
The evening will conclude with a fireworks display at 7:15 p.m., lighting up the sky over Brantford.
As part of the celebration, Wilfrid Laurier University is hosting a Purple and Gold Party at One Market (1 Market Street) to commemorate 25 years in Brantford.
From 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., guests can enjoy a variety of free activities, including bouncy castles, giant Jenga, Connect 4, corn hole, mini-putt, and live entertainment.
Complimentary cupcakes will be available while supplies last. Entry is at the corner of Dalhousie Street and Market Street. To accommodate the event, Colborne Street (from Brant Avenue to Bain Street) and Water Street/Wharf Street will be closed from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Free parking is available at the municipal parking garage at 59 Icomm Drive.
