Brantford Resident Arrested in Connection with Paris Retail Theft

Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a Brantford man following a theft at the Canadian Tire on Grand River Street North in Paris on January 14, 2025.

Police were called to the store at approximately 10:41 a.m. after a male suspect was observed interacting with the store manager before leaving with two stolen items. The items—a Ninja Slow Juicer valued at $219.99 and a Ninja Portable Juicer valued at $99.99—were taken without payment. The total value of the stolen goods, including tax, was $361.60.

The suspect fled the scene after exiting through the store’s main entrance.

An investigation led police to identify the suspect as 34-year-old Brandon D’Antonio of Brantford. He was located and arrested in Brantford on January 16, shortly after midnight. The arrest was made without incident.

D’Antonio has been charged with theft under $5,000 and has since been released.
