Brantford police have arrested two 16-year-olds following a stabbing late Saturday night that left a male victim with life-threatening injuries.
Officers responded to reports of an altercation at a residence on Market Street South at approximately 11:55 p.m. on December 7, 2024. Upon arrival, they found a male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
A knife was seized at the scene, and the two suspects, a male and a female from Brantford, were taken into custody. They have been charged with assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, mischief under $5,000, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. Both were held for a bail hearing.
