Brantford was alive with festive cheer on November 30 as the 48th Annual Freedom House Santa Claus Parade, presented by GrandBridge Energy, delighted residents and visitors alike.
The parade, one of the city’s most beloved traditions, took to the streets at 6:00 pm, marking the last Saturday of November with a spectacular celebration.
This year, the parade embraced a special theme: the 150th Anniversary of the invention of the telephone, honoring Alexander Graham Bell’s groundbreaking achievement and Brantford’s historic connection to the invention.
The creative floats, marching bands, and performers showcased the evolution of communication through dazzling lights, costumes, and designs that wowed the crowd.
The evening culminated in Harmony Square with the Parade After Party, where families gathered for live music, activities, and the thrilling countdown to the official Christmas tree lighting.
As the Christmas tree lit up the square, the crowd erupted into cheers, signaling the start of the holiday season in Brantford.
